Dear Mariposa Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Mariposa Avenue Elementary! I am excited to begin my second year as principal and continue serving this incredible school community. Over the past year, I have had the privilege of getting to know our students, families, and staff, and I am grateful for the relationships we have built together.

As both your principal and a proud resident of the Citrus Heights community, I remain deeply committed to the success of every student and to strengthening the partnership between home and school. Mariposa Avenue Elementary is a special place, and I am honored to continue leading a school community that values academic excellence, student growth, and meaningful connections.

At Mariposa, we are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where all students can thrive. Our staff works tirelessly to ensure that every child feels welcomed, valued, and challenged to reach their full potential. As we begin a new school year, we look forward to building upon the successes of last year while continuing to create opportunities for students to learn, grow, and shine.
