Hello Mariposa Families!

Going into my 4th year here at Mariposa, I am so excited to see all of our students and families back to begin a new year of growth together! Mariposa has an amazing staff that works so hard to support your children academically and socially. We are all exited about continuing to build our new community events here at Mariposa, staring with a Back to School Event and Picnic! This will replace our normal Back to School Night for this school year.

First day of school is August 15th!

School times for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday:

•  7:45 a.m. - 2:10 p.m. - 1st through 5th Grade
•  7:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. – Kindergarten
•  Thursday will be our early-out days every week:
• 7:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. - 1st through 5th Grade. Kindergarten hours stay the same.

Back to School Event and Picnic! Wednesday-August 14th!

•  2 pm to 4 pm visit our community fair and get resources from San Juan District, Shoe closet and our own Community room.
•  2 pm - 3 pm Classrooms will be open for you to swing by and get back to school information and meet your teacher..
• 3 pm -3:20 pm Principal -Title 1 School Meeting in the MP Room
• 3:20 pm- 4:00 pm picnic fair.

Donuts with the Principal! Aug. 23rd- 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in our Community Room (Rm. 7)

Come grab a donut and some coffee and let’s talk about our upcoming school year. This is a time to share your ideas, concerns, and ask questions. Also, check out our new Community Room!

The school office opens Monday, August 5, 2024 (Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and staff's first day back is Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

Back to School Packets will be available Monday, Aug. 13th – Aug. 17th from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with information about your child’s teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

Mariposa Shoe Closet will also be open at our Back to School Event and Picnic  Stop by Room 24. Your child will need to be with you to get a free pair of shoes. We want to thank Soles for Young Souls who work with the Citrus Height Community for donations to our shoe closet.
